The Field Mice are still one of the Sarah bands whom people most fondly remember and when you take a look at their discography you can easily see why. This EP for example contains a number of fabulous C86 tunes ranging from the melancholic instrumental "
Holland Street" to the slow beautiful title track with its melody that builds and builds.
Best track (for me anyway as its one of my favourite Field Mice songs) is "
Quicksilver". Again a simple and hauntingly beautiful pop moment. In fact so many eternal pop moments packed into one slab of vinyl its almost beyond belief. They don't make 'em like this anymore.
